Terms of Service

By using ASO++ you fully accept these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding with registration.

1. Service Description

ASO++ is a cloud service that exposes App Store Optimization (ASO) tools through the MCP (Model Context Protocol), usable directly from the user's AI assistant (Claude Desktop, Cursor, and compatible MCP clients). The service provides:

  • Keyword research and analysis for the Apple App Store, via official Apple Search Ads and iTunes Search APIs.
  • Retrieval of rankings, app metadata, recent reviews, and competitor analysis.
  • Full ASO audit via the aso_audit tool, which orchestrates multiple analyses in a single request.
  • Continuous tracking of selected keywords with ranking history.

The service is intended exclusively for developers and professionals who build applications for the Apple App Store. It is not intended for consumer use.

2. Access Requirements

To access the service you must:

  • Create an account via Clerk (email/password or OAuth provider), accepting these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
  • Generate at least one API token from the portal and configure your MCP client with the assigned token.
  • Be an adult developer with full legal capacity.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the service to:

  • Research and analyze keywords to optimize metadata for your own apps or for clients you represent.
  • Analyze competitor apps within the bounds permitted by Apple's public APIs.
  • Track keyword rankings for apps you own or manage.
  • Integrate into development workflows via AI assistants compatible with the MCP protocol.

4. Prohibited Use

The following are expressly prohibited:

  • Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing data obtained through the service to third parties without written authorization.
  • Performing bulk scraping or automated calls beyond the quota and rate-limiting limits of your subscribed plan.
  • Attempting to circumvent rate-limiting, quota enforcement, or authentication mechanisms.
  • Using the service for illegal purposes, unfair competition, or in violation of applicable law.
  • Sharing your API token with unauthorized third parties or using it for purposes not permitted under these Terms.

5. Apple Search Ads Terms Compliance

Use of this service is conditional upon your acceptance of and compliance with the Apple Search Ads Terms and Conditions.

ASO++ uses the official Apple Search Ads APIs to provide its services. As a user of the service, you are responsible for:

  • Fully complying with the Apple Search Ads Terms of Service in force.
  • Not using data obtained in violation of Apple's API data use policies.
  • Updating your usage in the event of changes to Apple's Terms.

ASO++ does not guarantee the continuous availability of Apple's APIs. In the event of unavailability or modification of the APIs by Apple, the service may be partially or totally unavailable without this constituting a breach of contract on our part.

6. Quota, Plans, and Billing

The service is available on multiple pricing plans with differentiated monthly API call quotas. The quota is decremented atomically on each call. Once the monthly quota is exhausted, calls are blocked until the billing cycle renews or the plan is upgraded.

Billing is managed through Polar.sh. Plan downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Refunds are handled according to Polar.sh's policies.

7. Limitation of Liability

Data provided by the service is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional ASO advice. ASO++ is not liable for:

  • Business decisions made based on data provided by the service.
  • Inaccuracies in data resulting from changes to Apple or iTunes Search APIs.
  • Service interruptions due to scheduled maintenance, sub-processor failures, or events beyond our control.
  • Data loss due to force majeure events.

The maximum aggregate liability of ASO++ to the user is limited to the amount paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the event that gave rise to the damage.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account in the event of:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service.
  • API abuse (attempts to bypass rate limiting, bulk scraping).
  • Non-payment of the subscribed plan.
  • User's request for account deletion.

In the event of suspension for violation, no refund of amounts paid will be provided. In the event of voluntary cancellation, data will be deleted within 30 days as provided in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service. In the event of material changes, registered users will be notified by email with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by Italian law. For any dispute relating to the service, the parties elect the courts of Turin as the exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by law for consumers.
